Lecture at RWTH About Sabbioneta
The northern Italian city of Sabbioneta originated as a residence for the small eponymous douchy.
The RWTH Aachen Chair of the History of Architecture measured the grand buildings in the UNCESCO world heritage site and examined them using methods from historical building research under the direction of professor Jan Pieper from 2007 to 2014.
As a part of the accompanying program to the Sabbioneta exhibit in the RWTH Reiff Museum, a lecture titled "The City as a Socio-Cultural Artifact: the Theoretical Foundation of civic survey" will be given on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at 7pm. The event will be held at the Couvenhalle, Kármánstraße 17-19.
Admission is free of charge.
