Presentation of the JARA Research Alliance
On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, as part of the lecture series "JARA - die Jülich Aachen Research Alliance," representatives from the JARA FAME section will give a lecture on the search for antimatter in the universe. JARA-FAME is concerned with fundamental research in the field of nuclear and particle physics and aims to investigate and improve our understanding of matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe.
RWTH professors Henning Gast and Andreas Lehrach will explain the difference between matter and antimatter and address the question of how antimatter can help in the search for the mysterious dark matter.
The lecture is scheduled to take place at 6:30pm in the Ford Hall, SuperC Building, Templergraben 57.
Entrance is free of charge; registration is not required. Please note that the lecture will be given in German.
