Our Profile

The Chair of Thermodynamics of Mobile Energy Conversion Systems (TME) at RWTH Aachen University, headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Pischinger, is located together with the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics (LTT) as the Institute of Thermodynamics within the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

Your Profile

  • Students in mechanical engineering/industrial engineering or similar.
  • Previous knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink desirable
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office
  • Communication skills and a confident appearance are a matter of course for you
  • Very good written and spoken German or English skills

Your Duties and Responsibilities

You will support the research of the Chair of Thermodynamics of Mobile Energy Conversion Systems in the field of fuel cell technology. Your tasks are diverse and include, depending on your profile, the setup of a simulation model for a solid-oxide fuel cell, development of desulfurization granules, helping out in research projects as well as test bench setup and/or support.

What We Offer

The successful candidate will be employed as a student assistant.
The position is to be filled at the earliest possible date and offered for a fixed term limited term of 3 months with the option to extend.
This is a part-time contract position.
The standard weekly hours will be 10-19 Stunden hours.
The salary is based on the RWTH Guidelines for Student and Graduate Assistants.
The position corresponds to a pay grade of 11,80 € / hour.
