JARA Lecture Series: Insights into the Brain
As part of the lecture series on JARA, the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance, a lecture will be given on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, titled "JARA-BRAIN: Insights into the Brain – Do They Help to Better Understand Psychiatric Illnesses?"
Neuropsychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, dementia and Parkinson are severe illnessses. JARA-BRAIN seeks to improve treatment methods of these disorders by more closely integrating fundamental research and clinical application.
Professor Ute Habel from the Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics at University Hospital Aachen will present insights into the “social brain” and the role it plays in psychiatric disorders.
