The conference Challenges in Mobility Consulting – Perspectives from Science and Practice will be held at RWTH Aachen on April 19, 2016. At the event the experiences in the ProMobiE: Professional Mobility Consulting for Multimodal Transport Services in the Context of Electromobility will be presented and discussed.
The mobility sector is finding itself in a period of change. New propulsion technologies, complex mobility concepts, and changed user behavior are requiring innovative concepts. That is the core of the ProMobiE project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Services offers from mobility suppliers must be adapted to electromobility, continuing education concepts necessary to achieve this adaptation must be created, and services must be tested and evaluated.
Representatives from the mobility sector, service and professionalization research, and from public or non-profit institutions demonstrate transfer possibilities. The combination of science and practice is expected to make visible new approaches for mobility consulting and paths towards professionalization for consultants.
The conference is a collaborative effort of the Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics and the Chair of Education with a focus on Human Resource Education at RWTH Aachen in cooperation with VDV-Akademie e.V. and Prospektiv GmbH.
