Students at the RWTH Department of Sculptural Design have built a blue whale out of wood.
Measuring approximately 20 meters long with two entrances and constructed from wood and polyethylene film, the blue whale model was built by 17 students from the RWTH Department for Structural Design under the slogan "Whale Watching Campus."
The imposing structure developed from the architecture students' design theory lessons and will be on display till June 3, 2016, in front of the SuperC on Templergraben.
