Medical Engineering at RWTH
The third event in this term's lecture series on the Excellence Initiative is titled "From the Idea to the Patient: Medical Engineering at RWTH." Various researchers participating in the Exploratory Research Space at RWTH Aachen present their research projects with a medical engineering focus.
The current research topics in medical engineering at RWTH Aachen range from providing children with hearing loss with optimal hearing aids that also work in complex situations such as loud classroom situations to reliable miniature catheter systems for heart support to implants that don't cause infections in the body to predicting the risk of sudden heart failure in diabetics.
The event takes place Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at 7 pm in the Generali Hall, SuperC, Templergraben 57. Admission is free of charge; registration is not required.
