Christmas Tree Initiative Fulfills Wishes
As in the years prior, Aachen's citizens are once again called upon to help fulfill the Christmas wishes of children, adolescents, and young adults who live apart from their families due to experiences of stress and suffering and are now being cared for by the youth welfare center Burtscheid.
The charity Christmas campaign is being organized for the thirteenth time by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Group at RWTH Aachen University and the Aachen branch of the youth organization Rotaract, which is part of Rotary International.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year, the list of Christmas wishes (de) is available online. Professor Malte Brettel, vice-rector for industry and business relations, will hand the gifts over in a small ceremony shortly before Christmas.
Anyone is invited to participate. Just select a present from the list, enter your contact details, and confirm by clicking "Ich möchte mitschenken". Please send your gift (each is worth about 20 euros) by post to:
