International Advanced Battery Conference

Tuesday, April 27 to Thursday, April 29, 2021

For the first time webcasted live: the annual International Conference Advanced Battery Power organized jointly by Haus der Technik, Essen, ISEA Institut, RWTH Aachen und MEET Batterieforschungszentrum Münster will in 2021 be performed in its 13th year and for the first time hosted on a virtual conference platform and meet the networking needs of the community of battery experts in science and technology.

„Facing the latest travel restrictions and distance regulations to perform the Advanced Battery Conference 2021 online is clearly the best option“, Bernd Hömberg Haus der Technik, Essen, Professor Dirk Uwe Sauer, ISEA Institut für Stromrichtertechnik und Elektrische Antriebe, RWTH Aachen and Professor Martin Winter, MEET Batterieforschungszentrum Münster notice for the organizers.

„We are convinced, that the conference to be webcasted will be very attractive for international battery experts, their long distance journeys and longlasting away times can be avoided. Moreover the online conference participation can be agreed more easily with a busy schedule and other obligations. As we have to do without face-to-face meetings we place particular emphasis on interactive sessions in small groups and interactive individual discussions.”

The Conference platform is enriched on April 27, 2021 by a broadened platform of numerous preliminary seminars and the BatteryDay (only in German) offering a wide range of possibilities for professional networking between authors and participants from Battery and Battery service companies, scientific organisations.

Again more than 220 papers for lectures and scientific posters were contributed, the Scientific Advisory Boardd is evaluating and working out the final schedule, that is expected to be published around 12th of January 2021.

The Conference 2021 will again create an exceptional schedule with international key-notes in our usual good spirits presenting up-to-date information on the cutting-edge of technology, the latest research results and forward-looking concepts.
