German-Korean Collaboration

A delegation from the Korean Seoul National University, SNU, visited RWTH Aachen as part of the workshop Advances in the Science and Engineering of Functional Materials.
The two universities can look back on many years of collaboration in research and teaching. A cooperative agreement to fund the exchange of students and scientists was adopted in 2008. Since then the collaboration has continued to grow and expand.
SNU was represented by five professors at the workshop, which was organized by junior professor Dominik Wöll and the Chair of Physical Chemistry I at RWTH under the direction of professor Manfred Martin. Numerous professors, doctoral candidates, and postdocs from RWTH participated.
