RWTH Aachen University has again been awarded the TOTAL E-QUALITY rating for equal opportunities, receiving an additional recognition for diversity.

The TOTAL E-QUALITY rating is granted for three years by the association of the same name and honors organizations from business, science, and administration as well as associations that successfully contribute to equal opportunities in their personnel and organizational policies. With its sixth successful application in a row, RWTH Aachen University was once again able to convince the jury with its concepts for personnel development, equality, and diversity management.

Since 2017, the association has also been awarding the additional distinction for diversity, which RWTH has now received for the second time. RWTH defines diversity as a cross-cutting issue and management task – both in research and teaching as well as in science management and administration.

Dr. Ulrike Brands-Proharam Gonzalez, Equal Opportunities Officer, Professor Doris Klee, Vice-Rector of Human Resources Management and Development, and Ralitsa Petrova-Stoyanov, Head of the Integration Team - Human Resources, Gender and Diversity Management (from left) proudly show the certificate.
