Coordinator of the Practical Semester
The second round of the "Aachener Dialog zum Praxissemester" or Aachen Dialogue About the Practical Semester is kicking off on September 23, 2016. The event will be held from 9:30am to 5pm at Einhard Gymnasium and the Zentrum für schulpraktische Lehrerausbildung Aachen.
It is particularly targeted towards teachers and student teachers in the Aachen training region, including both those with and without experience with the practical semester. The offer is a collaboration of all of the schools participating in the practical semester, the centers for practical teacher training in schools, and the RWTH Aachen Leherbildungszentrum.
The focus of the event is the professionalization of teachers. In both subject-specific and interdisciplinary workshops participants will learn how students in the practical semester can be supported on their paths to developing their personalities as teachers.
The event is also of professional interest to teachers. Participation is free of charge, refreshments are provided. Registration is open until September 8, 2016.
