On November 8, the RWTH International Office and the German Academic Exchange Service, DAAD, will host the "Go Abroad Fair" at RWTH Aachen's SuperC.

As part of the event at the SuperC, Templergraben 57, 52062 Aachen, many different departments of RWTH, such as the faculties, the Career Center, the University Language Center, the Alumi Team as well as organizations from outside the university will be on hand to give information on the topic of stays abroad. A "Speed Dating" event puts RWTH students in contact with others who have already completed a stay abroad. Special focus of the fair is Brasil. RWTH maintains partnerships with the most prestigious universities of this South American country. The program features, among others, a talk on life and work in Brasil, a Capoeira show as well as taster courses for Brasilian Portuguese.

Fair Day Highlights

Further highlights will be a presentation by Andrea Hagedorn, Head of Global Mobility at Lanxess, entitled "Living and Working in Brasil" from 3 to 4pm and a panel discussion with the initiative "studying across the world - EXPERIENCE IT!" from 5 to 6pm at the Ford hall. Representatives from Porsche, Continental, Windmöller & Hölscher as well as from the Cologne Institute for Economic Research will take part in a panel session to discuss the topic "career factor international experience." The event will take place form 6 to 7pm at the Ford hall.

Framework Program

From Monday, November 7 to Friday, November 11, 2016, there will also be an extensive framework program on offer. Among others, the nine faculties of RWTH Aachen will inform interested students about the possibilities for stays abroad. Other information events will deal with topics such as double degrees, theology studies or internships abroad.
