Seminar for international PhD - Students
The ability to present your ideas, plans, projects in a persuasive and confident way is a key to success and will influence your further career. Giving convincing lectures, presentations and statements is not only a question of scientific expertise but also of a strong and assertive voice as well as being able to act selfconfident. It’s not only about what you say but how you say it and what kind of a person is standing in front of the audience.
The seminar will provide you with basic competences to professionally use your voice and body language, to cope with stress and nerves and help you to optimize your presentations within a scientific community.
Objective
Present Youself and your topic in a convincing way, regarding vocal skills, body language, presence and speech.
Methods
Vocal and speech exercises, breathing techniques, a variety of presentation sequences during the two days, feedback, theoretical input.
