Description

The flexible design of project organizational processes with the help of agile methods and approaches has become a success factor for the ability to react and implement changes in project management. The approaches are applied in many areas and often contribute significantly to the structuring and thus to the positive outcomes of a project. Get an introduction to agile forms of project organization in a two-day workshop and learn about ways to apply agile methods in research and development projects.

Objective

You will learn to execute several projects in a goal-oriented and successful way utilizing agile methods.

You will understand how to effectively improve agile coordination and communication processes.

You will be able to apply what you have learned in joint projects.

Content

The seminar imparts basic knowledge of agile project management and its practical application in research and development. The following content awaits you:

  • Introduction to agile approaches and methods

  • Agility in research and development

  • Agility in classical research projects and third-party funded projects

  • Hybrid project management

  • Communication in agile teams

  • Collaboration in virtual project teams

  • Basics of the agile tool "Kanban"
