Description
The term "bias" means partiality, inclination, prejudice. Unconscious biases are unconscious cognitive biases, such as automatic stereotypes, and other unconscious thought patterns that are deeply ingrained. They can lead to faulty biases in how we perceive and judge people or whole groups of people. Biases affect how we communicate and act in any situation - in what ways we can influence. An important step for this is to become aware of our very personally anchored biases; another, to become familiar with options for action and communication.
