Currently, we are facing a new industrial revolution, which is associated with terms such as “Industry 4.0” and “Internet of Things”. Over the next few years, the increasing interconnection and digitalization in value creation processes in industry will place new demands on employees.

The ability of business and industry to adapt to this paradigm shift will be a key factor for maintaining its competitiveness and securing the welfare of our country. Meeting this challenge requires the provision of new continuing education offerings.

Against this backdrop, RWTH Aachen University, RWTH International Academy, and TÜV Rheinland Akademie have agreed on future collaboration in the professional education sector: RWTH Vice-Rector Malte Brettel; Dr. Helmut Dinger, managing director of the RWTH International Academy, and Markus Dohm, Chairman of the Academy & Life division of TÜV Rheinland, now signed a declaration of intent for their future cooperation in condinuing education.

The aim is to jointly develop high-quality continuing education programs for academics and professionals in different formats and using innovative teaching and learning methodologies.
