Fourteen RWTH Lecturers to Receive Funding from Stifterverband and the Federal State of NRW

Several RWTH researchers successfully submitted a joint application for funding to the NRW Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research and Stifterverband, the Donors' Association for the Promotion of the Humanities and Sciences in Germany.

 

Lecturers from all disciplines were invited to apply for one-year “Fellowships for Innovations in Digital Teaching and Learning at Universities.” Due to their successful joint application, starting in 2017, 14 RWTH instructors will receive funding worth 630,000 euros.

The aim of the fellowship program is to foster the development of digital teaching and examination formats, concepts for novel degree program components, exchange on teaching and learning, and the maintenance and further development of existing digital learning formats.

The successful RWTH applicants are Dr. Okay Altay, Professor Martin Baumann, Dr. Tim Clarner, Markus Dammers, Hannah Groninger, Dr. Stefan Hegemann, Dr. Sebastian Kuhlen, Bastian Küppers, Dr. Stefan Lankes, Anne Lausberg, Professor Bernd Markert, Professor Simone Paganini, Professor Anja Richert, and Professor Karen Veroy-Grepl.
