New Research and a Glimpse of C.A.R.L.

New double issue of the "RWTH insight" university magazine.

The new “RWTH insight,” a double issue, provides a first glimpse of the new C.A.R.L. lecture hall center, which is now in pilot operation. Moreover, the magazine reports on the Copernicus project ”Power to X,” which is concerned with Germany’s transition to sustainable energy; the continued collaboration with materials manufacturer Covestro in catalysis research; and the exciting activities at the Center for Wind Power Drives, where wind turbines are tested under real-world conditions.

Furthermore, RWTH rector Ernst Schmachtenberg explains how the Excellence Initiative of the Federal and State Governments has transformed the University over the last ten years.
