Positions Open at Turkish German University


In collaboration with the Turkish-German University in Istanbul, the German Academic Exchange Service, DAAD, is advertising five open positions.


TDU, the Turkish-German University in Istanbul is a State-run Turkish university, which was founded in 2010 on the basis of an inter-governmental agreement. 34 German universities and the DAAD are supporting TDU as partners.

The German language, study stays and internships in Germany, as well as a large percentage of German teaching staff – those are all important hallmarks of TDU that add to its particular appeal. On the German side, TDU is being supported by the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, BMBF for short.

In Collaboration with TDU, the DAAD is advertising the following open positions:

A) Two short-term lectureships at the faculty of engineering for the degree programs in

BA Industrial Engineering (de)

BA Mechatronic Systems Technology (de)

These positions can also be filled by long-term lecturers or converted into long-term lectureships.

B) One long-term lectureship for the MA European and International Affairs program (de)

C) One long-term lectureship for the MA International Finance program (de)

D) One long-term lectureship with coordinating function for helping establish the Faculty for Business and Administrative Sciences (de)

These positions are to be filled by the start of the 2017/18 winter semester. They are being sponsored by the DAAD according to the rules for short-term or long-term lecturers. All applications have to be submitted online via the DAAD portal.
