50th Essen Conference for Water and Waste Management in Aachen
Between March 22 and 24, 2017, the 50th Essen Conference for Water and Waste Management will take place at the Eurogress Conference Center in Aachen.
This year, about 1,000 participants are expected to attend the conference. In about 70 specialist lectures, university researchers and experts from politics, business and industry will present the latest research results and discuss recent political and administrative framework conditions in the arena of water and waste management.
What does the future of engineering education look like? How can we cope with the problem of trace materials in water? What are the reasons for the excessive growth of aquatic plants, and what can be done about it? It is questions like these that will be addressed in this year’s conference contributions.
The conference is jointly hosted by the RWTH Institute of Environmental Engineering, the RWTH Aachen Research Institute for Water and Waste Management, the RWTH Institute for the Promotion of Water Quality and Water Resources Management, and the State Office for Nature, Environment, and Consumer Protection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Please note that the conference language is German. For further information and the conference program, please visit the website of the conference at 50. Essener Tagung für Wasser- und Abfallwirtschaft (de).
