Summer School at Michigan State University with Scholarship Opportunities
The Michigan State University College of Engineering and the American Semester Program offer an Engineering Academy program for summer 2017:
Date: July 2 to 30, 2017
Program Fee: $4,600 USD (All Inclusive)
Prerequisites Required: College-level Chemistry, College-level Physics, and Introduction to Materials Science and Engineering
Deadline to apply: May 1, 2017
The 4-week Engineering Academy allows students to gain real experience studying engineering at a top university in the United States. Students in this premier academy will take a special course in Materials Characterization, engage in a supervised research project, and participate in leadership seminars with expert faculty. Outside of the classroom, students will also participate in a socio-cultural program designed by the American Semester Program at Michigan State University (MSU). Students will attend a baseball game on the 4th of July, have a picnic on the beach, and travel to Chicago, among other things.
There is also the opportunity to gain one of twenty $1,000 scholarships towards the Engineering Academy program for this summer. Students MUST apply for this scholarship by May 1, 2017. Early applications are appreciated!
