Content

Deepen the scientific work or directly into the free economy? Many engineers are faced with this decision after completing their studies. Now the fireside chat "How to become a Dr.-Ing.", an informal meeting in a small circle and personal atmosphere, offers help in making this decision.

Participants can expect an overview of the different doctoral paths in engineering, their advantages and disadvantages, as well as possibilities for planning their own doctorate more precisely. Most importantly, participants will be able to openly discuss expectations and challenges with each other. An engineer who already holds a doctorate will present his or her own doctoral path and be available to answer questions. Special situations, e.g. a doctorate with a child or with a UAS degree, will also be discussed on request.
