Description

In universities and research institutions, research and internal activities are being organized as projects. Professional project management supports the target-oriented execution of these projects. Successful projects require special management methods. The better the project leaders and project members master appropriate methods of management, the more easily they can achieve their project goals. The seminar provides a basic overview of methods of efficient and goal-oriented project management in traditional and agile environments.

Objective

You will learn how to set up and manage projects successfully and will be familiar with various modern approaches to project management.

You will know important processes, methods and tools for the management of projects and for successful collaboration in projects.

You are able to select and apply modern methods.

Content

The seminar provides basic knowledge for practical application. The following content awaits you:

  • Set up projects successfully - traditionally and agile

  • Structure projects appropriately and define work packages

  • Involve all stakeholders using canvas models

  • Develop and agree on milestones

  • Plan dates, resources and costs

  • Monitor and control projects

  • Use agile methods for project work

  • Organize and visualize project work
