Innovative Operational Skills Management

The conference is part of the funding priority termed “Operational Skills Management in Times of Demographic Change” on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, BMBF. 31 joint projects nationwide are currently conducting research on this topic with various partners from industry.

The Institute of Sociology is responsible for hosting the conference and shaping its content along with partners from the University of Hildesheim and VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH. The first day is devoted to key results. The second day will establish how these are relevant in practical applications. During a “Research Fair” the event organizers will present practice-oriented information as well as new tools, methods and strategies with regard to operational skills management. The fairground is an interdisciplinary and cross-sector meeting point, where experts, scholars and representatives of industry can exchange ideas.
