Aachen Pedagogy Day 2017
The FachdidaktikForum at the RWTH Aachen Educational Center is to host the Aachen Pedagogy Day 2017
The motto of this year’s conference is “Teaching Heterogeneous Groups – Pedagogical Ideas, Exchange & Networking.” It is addressed primarily at those who are confronted with the topics of inclusion and heterogeneity in an educational context, such as teachers, teacher trainees, and teaching methodology experts.
Teaching Heterogeneous Groups
What are the factors that make the teaching of heterogeneous groups successful? The Aachen Pedagogy Day 2017 will examine the political framework for the implementation of inclusive education and explore possible alternatives for action in schools and in the education and training of teachers.
Questions under discussion include: Which framework conditions have to be met for inclusive teaching of schools in the Aachen region to be successful? How is (continuing) teacher training to be adapted to fit the requirements posed by inclusion and heterogeneity?
Apart from the above named target groups, students and the general public are invited as well. Please register for the event by November 17. Certificates of participation will be issued; admission is free of charge. Snacks and drinks will be served.
Please note that the conference language is German.
