Panel discussion in the "Uni at City Hall" event series

As part of the "Uni at City Hall“ event series, the City of Aachen and RWTHextern are hosting a panel discussion on the topic of “500 Years of Reformation: What Will Stay With Us?”

Panelists at the event, which will be moderated by WDR journalist Jens Tervooren, include Professor Frank Pohle, Professor Christine Roll, Dr. Thomas Kirchner, all from the RWTH Institute of History, and Armin Drack from the Aachen Protestant Church Community.

What remains with us after a multitude of exhibitions, book publications, ceremonial acts and much else? What meaning does the Reformation hold for the people of today? And: Were there expectations? Which were fulfilled and which weren't? The panelists will shed a light on the history – and stories – of the Reformation over the years until today and discuss current questions with the audience.

The panel discussion is scheduled to take place Tuesday, November 7, at 7:30pm in the Coronation Chamber of Aachen City Hall. Admission is free of charge; registration is not required.
