Once again this year, RWTH members are invited to fulfill the Christmas wish of a child, a youth or a young adult in the custody of Jugendhilfezentrum Burtscheid. The charitable gift-giving initiative, which is taking place for the tenth time this year, is organized by the RWTH Chair of Business and Economics for Engineers and Natural Scientists. Partners include Rotary International and the youth organization Rotaract.

In a celebratory event on December 20, RWTH’s Vice-Rector for Industrial Relations, Professor Malte Brettel, will give the presents to the children and youths. The event is scheduled to begin at 5pm in the foyer of the SuperC, Templergraben 55.

Those who want to participate can do so by exchanging one of wish tags on the Christmas tree in the foyer of the SuperC for a Christmas present, worth 20 euros. Just take one of the wish tags, enter the name of the child in the list, and come back at a later stage – by December 15 at the latest –, to hand in the wrapped present at the SuperC info desk. The info desk is open between 7:30am and 4pm, Mondays through Fridays.
