Future Day for Female Students

30/11/2017

RWTH Aachen is collaborating with various companies to offer future female graduates information to assist them with entering the workforce.

Family, career, getting started, or maybe a job with set working hours? And what to do when? The 2017 Future Day for Female Students at RWTH Aachen deals directly with such topics.

This event aims to support young women with their plans, put them in contact with companies, and inform them about programs or funding opportunities. Regional and national companies – including Bosch, Continental, Siemens, Phoenix Contact, Porsche, and Saint Gobain – will present themselves both at fair booths and with short presentations. Students have the opportunity to have direct contact with human resource representatives and to learn about application processes and entry-level jobs. Job and continuing education possibilities at RWTH will also be presented. A moderated talk with the companies and a networking get together with beverages and snacks round out the day.

The Future Day for Female Students 2017 will take place Tuesday, December 12, 2017, from 12 noon to 8pm in the RWTH Aachen SuperC, Templergraben 57, 6th floor. It is a cooperation between the RWTH Equal Opportunities Office and Career Center and the Gender Working Group in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
