Title

HYPERNEX: IGNITION OF THE EUROPEAN HYPERLOOP ECOSYSTEM

Concept

The Hyperloop is an innovative mode of passenger and freight transport. If all goes to plan, passengers may be zipping around in futuristic pods running through tubes at speeds above 1 000 kph. However, regulators first need to understand hyperloop operations. Also, industry and the R&D ecosystem need a better understanding of how this ultra-fast travel mode can work. The EU-funded HYPERNEX project focuses on the need for a catalyst to facilitate the development of the European hyperloop ecosystem and contribute to the convergence of R&D institutions, industry actors, regulators and societal needs with hyperloop developers. The project will improve understanding between hyperloop developers and pave the way for this mode of transport.
