Nobel Prize Lecture at RWTH
Researchers from the School of Business and Economics present the most important contributions of two Nobel Prize laureates.
On Monday, January 22, 2018, RWTH professors Thomas S. Lontzek and Robert Böhm will provide an introduction to the work of two Nobel Prize laureates in economics.
Professor Lontzek, Chair of Computational Economics, will be talking about the 1972 laureate Kenneth Joseph Arrow, whose most noted contributions include social choice theory and his work on general equilibrium analysis.
Robert Böhm, Junior Professor for Decision Analysis, will provide an introduction to Richard H. Thaler's foundational contributions to the field of behavioral economics. Thaler received the Nobel Prize in economics in 2017.
The event, which is scheduled to start at 6:30pm at the Aachen Couven Halle, Kármánstraße 17-19, is sponsored by the Association of Friends and Supporters of the School of Business and Economics ("Förderverein").
