The RWTHextern Citizens' Forum and Theater Aachen invite the public to the next event in their series "Of Humans and Machines" on Thursday, January 25, 2018. The event begins at 8pm at Mörgens, Mörgensstraße 24, in Aachen.

Machines that play chess, mow the lawn, and operate; self-driving cars; drones delivering packages – robotics is expected to downright boom in the coming decades. What appears innovative and doubtful has already inched its way into the realm of what's possible. A casual combination of scientific think tank contributions, science fiction performances, and live "futuristic music" will present the rapid technological developments in various areas of life in a lively manner.

The event will highlight what work environments of the future will be like. Dr. Roman Senderek, lecturer at FIR e. V. at RWTH Aachen, will give a presentation titled "Working in the Digital World," discussing the various formats in which work will take place. He will also present different work scenarios and solutions. The audience will also be given a look at skills developed and initial experiences in this field.

Tickets can be bought at the door for 6 euros.
