Aachen Forum on Molding Materials
Second Moulding Materials Forum on March 7 to 8 at RWTH Aachen University
Additive manufacturing in the foundry sector, added value and improved product quality through smart data in molding sand preparation, trends and developments in the area of core removal technology – these are just some of the topics discussed at the 2nd Molding Materials Forum, which will take place simultaneously and at the same venue with the 44th Aachen Foundry Colloquium.
The talks of the Forum will be held on March 7 and 8, 2018, in RWTH’s C.A.R.L. lecture hall complex in Claßenstraße. The event will be opened with welcome addresses by Professor Andreas Bührig-Polaczek, director of the RWTH Foundry Institute, and Dr. Erwin Flender from the German Foundry Foundation BDG.
During the event, there will also be an exhibition and fair, providing companies from the foundry sector with the opportunity to showcase their technologies, products, and services. The Founders’ Evening of the Molding Materials Forum, which provides ample opportunities for participants to network and exchange information related to the sector, is scheduled to start at 6pm at the Tivoli Stadium. About 450 participants are expected to attend the events.
Please note that the conference language is German.
