A Look at Our Universe

As part of the event series “Through the Galaxy with RWTH”, exciting and interesting motifs on the subject of the Universe are displayed on 10 large banners distributed along Templergraben between Wüllnerstrasse and Schinkelstrasse. The motifs invite visitors to marvel, reflect and linger and, in addition to the breadth of the topics, they also show the aesthetic side of science.
The scientific images refer to the local area and they make reference to science at RWTH, especially the activities of the Aachen physics departments. Anyone wanting to learn more about the motifs can download a short podcast for each image via a QR code. In these podcasts, the photographers and physicists talk about “their” picture or explain its scientific background.
