Education Has No Age Limit
RWTH Aachen looks back on 30 exciting and successful years of Studies for Senior Citizens.
This is a great occasion to have a party, so there will be a celebration on Friday, July 6, 2018, at Ford and Generali halls on the sixth floor of the SuperC building at Templergraben 57 in Aachen. RWTH Rector Ernst Schmachtenberg will give the welcome address and Aloys Krieg, Vice-Rector for Teaching, will also attend.
Marking 30 years since the inception of the Studies for Senior Citzens program, the event is a great opportunity to look back over the years with the help of various short presentations. An exhibition of drawings and paintings will feature a series of pictures crafted by Professor Emeritus Klaus Eichenberg. Guests will furthermore have an opportunity to get to know one another and have lively discussions while enjoying music and a buffet-style snack.
Tickets are 15 euros and can be purchased from Günter Behner, member of the Spokesperson Council of Studies for Senior Citizens.
