Division 1.2 - Registar's Office belongs to the Department of Academic Affairs and Registrar's Office within RWTH Aachen's Central University Administration.

Our Responsibilities

The Admissions Unit is responsible for the application and admission processes for German applicants and applicants with a German university entrance qualification. This includes processing of applications for Staatsexamen, Bachelor’s, Master’s (applicants with a German Master’s entrance qualification) as well as applications from admission to doctoral studies (applicants with a German qualification for doctoral studies).

The Enrollment Unit is responsible for enrollment, re-registration, leaves of absence, and termination of enrollment.

The Studies for Senior Citizens/Auditing Students Unit is responsible for the application and admission process for auditing students as well as organizing the University’s course program for senior citizens.

Furthermore, the division manages the administration of student body and semester fees.
