RWTH Invites You to Join Their Diversity Days

20/10/2021

From November 2 to 5, 2021, RWTH invites you to join Diversity Days again.

These have been held every two years since 2016 and aim to raise awareness for mutual respect, appreciation, and a university culture that is as free of discrimination as possible. In 2021, the focus will be on diversity management and anti-discrimination at the university as well as the Inclusion Action Plan, which was developed over the past few months. It supplements the Inclusion Agreement in force at RWTH since 2019 and formulates seven fields of action for a vision for the year 2026.

As part of the virtual kick-off event, Inclusion and Diversity: Looking Forward, on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, starting at 3:30pm, a number of experts will present different aspects of the aforementioned topics.

Talk: Racism as an Educational Challenge

As part of the Diversity Days program, Professor Aladin El-Mafaalani will give a talk on Racism as an Educational Challenge on Thursday, November 4, 2021, starting at 6.30 pm.
