The project has received a donation from the Strategic Decisions Group.
The Entscheidungsnavi, or Decision Navigator, is an online tool initially developed for teaching and learning purposes by RWTH's Decision Theory and Financial Services Group under the direction of Professor Rüdiger von Nitzsch. The tool, which supports individuals in reflecting on and making professional and private decisions, is increasingly being used by companies.
Based on his positive experience with the decision-making tool, Dr. Mark Seidler from the Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) consultancy has decided to promote the concept and application of the Decision Navigator. RWTH and SDG have now jointly decided to promote the tool through a non-profit organization and founded the Reflektiert Entscheiden e.V. support association. SDG donated 20,000 euros to establish the association.
The Decision Navigator can now be used free of charge. The association seeks to support initiatives that enhance reflection in social and political decision-making processes. Private individuals and companies that want to support the project, provide ideas for further development, or apply and further develop the Decision Navigator in the context of teaching, training, or further education are invited to contact the association or Professor von Nitzsch’s team.
