WDR Bigband Again at RWTH
It's a tradition now: WDR Bigband is coming to perform at RWTH Aachen.
This year – again at RWTHextern and RWTH Bigband's invitation – a very special program is planned: With the singer, musician, and teacher Theo Bleckmann and the young arranger Miho Hazama, WDR Bigband is presenting two artists who are young, yet have already received many awards. Theo Bleckmann has incredible range in his singing, freely moving about between Jazz and Classical, between improvisation and experiment. In Miho Hazama he has found an ideal partner.
The concert will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 8pm in the auditorium of the RWTH Main Building. Tickets can be bought in advance at Klenkes Ticketshop, the RWTH student council AStA, or the Frankenne office supplies store branch at Templergraben, as well as at the box office prior to the performance. Admission is 12 euros, 5 euros reduced rate, for advance tickets, and 15 euros, 7 euros reduced, at the box-office.
