Nobel Prize Lecture at RWTH
On Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 6:30pm, the Faculty of Business and Economics will offer its fifth Nobel Prize Lecture.
At this event, various professors of the Faculty typically highlight the work of selected Nobel Prize Laureates in the field of business and economics. This year, Professor Almut Balleer from the Chair of Applied Economics and Professor Wolfgang Breuer from the Department of Finance will report on the research findings of 2018 Nobel Prize Laureates William D. Nordhaus and Paul M. Romer. They will futhermore offer insight into the work of the 1990 Nobel Prize Winners (Harry M. Markowitz, Merton H. Miller und William F. Sharpe) and the 1997 Nobel Laureates (Robert C. Merton und Myron S. Scholes). Every year, the Faculty endeavours to present both the current as well as prior Nobel Prize Recipients and their research.
This event is sponsored by the Association of Friends and Supporters of the School of Business and Economics and is open to anyone with an interest in this topic.
