Support Service for House-Hunting at the International Office of RWTH
Looking for accommodation can be quite the challenge for many new students in Aachen. For international newcomers especially, it can become a source of stress and anxiety, as the access to the housing market is hindered amongst others by the language barrier, financial expectations and limitations, and administrative hurdles.
To counter this situation, the International Office supports its international students and researchers at RWTH Aachen University with house-hunting in and around Aachen by providing detailed information, online seminars, virtual and personal consultation and by conveying private offers.
The Housing Advice Service supports international Bachelor and Master students, and the Welcome Center for international researchers attends to the needs of international PhD students, postdocs and guest researchers.
The Housing Advice Service also provides tips for renting out your property for housing providers with short-, medium- or long-term accommodation offers in private dorms or at private residences and is happy to give advice on ways to reach out to prospective international tenants.
