Virologist Melanie Brinkmann to Give a Lecture at RWTH


The deputy chair of the Federal Government's Corona Expert Council will give a lecture to launch a brand new series of events.


Virologist Melanie Brinkmann will give a lecture at RWTH Aachen University on "The Corona Pandemic: Curse or Blessing". Brinkmann is a professor at the Institute of Genetics at the Technical University of Braunschweig and she is also the deputy chair of the German government's Coronavirus Expert Council. This is the start of a new lecture series "ERS invites...", which is organized by the Exploratory Research Space, ERS for short, at RWTH Aachen University. The aim is to bring top-class speakers to the University to talk about current topics.

ERS and RWTH Professor Gabriele Pradel, from the Department of Cellular and Applied Infection Biology, would like to invite you to this public event on Thursday, May 5, 2022. It will take place from 5:15pm to 6:15pm in lecture hall H01 in the C.A.R.L, Claßenstraße 11 in Aachen. Brinkmann will take a critical look at the past two years of the pandemic as well as the challenges and opportunities that it has presented.
