Discuss and reflect on your specific personal questions and current professional challenges – for instance, regarding an appointment procedure – in an individualized one-on-one session with an experienced coach from the German Association of University Professors and Lecturers, DHV.

Tenure Track Appointment Process at RWTH
The tenure track professorships are an essential pillar of RWTH’s appointment strategy, helping the University to attract promising young researchers. Division 8.5 – Appointment Management is responsible for coordinating and supporting the tenure track process. The team will be happy to advise and support you regarding any questions you might have about the tenure track process or tenure evaluation.

The team of Division 4.2 – Management of Third Party Funds is there to assist you through their External Funding Portal and offers you support with the acquisition, quality assurance, and management of external funding – from the intial idea right through to the management of large-scale projects.

The IP Management team of the RWTH Division of Technology Transfer, working in close cooperation with RWTH Innovation GmbH, will be happy to support you in the inventing and patenting process.

Center for Teaching and Learning Services at RWTH Aachen University
The RWTH Center for Teaching and Learning Services pools the Excellent Academic Teaching unit ExAcT, the Media for Teaching unit MfL, the Learning Platform Management team LPM, the Self Assessment tool SAM, the Aachen Mentoring Model AMM, and the Student Lifecycle Support team SLB under one roof. Together, we offer a wide range of services to improve study conditions and teaching quality at RWTH.
