RWTH Aachen University and its four partner universities highlight the importance of Sustainability and Emerging Technologies.

As a member of the IDEA League, a strategic alliance of five leading technical universities in Europe, RWTH Aachen University is participating in the new IDEA League Future Tech Executive Programme. The program is initially devoted to two topics: Sustainability and Emerging Technologies. These exclusively tailored academic tracks were created so professionals can learn directly from the experts at the forefront of technological advancement. Professors from ETH Zurich, TU Delft, RWTH Aachen University, Politecnico di Milano and Chalmers University will help them acquire the skills and expertise to build a sustainable business for Industry 4.0.

Over 20 weeks, participants in the program will acquire knowledge and skills in topics ranging from AI and Industry 4.0 to electric mobility and the circular economy. A two-hour introductory session is followed by three in-depth courses offered by the five universities. The participants can complete their final project by visiting two participating universities to spend a week immersed in the topic and using the knowledge they have gained.  Through its cross-border partnership, the IDEA League provides an excellent environment for students, researchers, and employees from the partner universities to share knowledge, experiences, and resources.
