Choosing the Right Brand Strategy – Your Road to Success
RWTH to host information event on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day
On April 6, 2019, World Intellectual Property Day will be celebrated worldwide. On this occasion, the RWTH Center of Patents and Standards, in collaboration with AGIT, IHK and HWK Aachen, will host an information event titled "Distinctive and Strong: Choosing the Right Brand Strategy.” The event will take place at the Energeticon, Alsdorf.
The event is targeted at founders of new businesses, inventors, and entrepreneurs. Experts from the Aachen technology region will provide a hands-on introduction the provisions of the new trademark law in force since 2019, which offer new possibilities of protection ranging from holograms to certification marks.
Other key topics include supplementary intellectual property rights concerning domain names and design as well as developing strategies for successful brand management. Participants have the opportunity to discuss individual questions and exchange experiences.
