RWTH Leadership Certificate for Professors
Newly appointed professors are invited to complete the RWTH Leadership Certificate. It is mandatory for junior and tenure-track professors.
You can choose two pathways to do this:
1. You participate in Workshopsof the Postdoc Academy and/or the Program for Professors of the Center for Professional Leaderships (CPL) and complete the following building blocks:
- Welcome Workshop for Newly Appointed Professors
- Workshop Conversation Management I (and/or Workshop Conversation Management II) as well as
- freely selectable offerings from the portfolios of the CPL and of the Center for Learning and Teaching Services (CLS) in the scope of eight seminar days.
For the issuance of certificates, please contact Dagmar Grübler and submit your certificates of participation as PDF documents.
2. Junior professors complete the Certificate Course for Executives in Science, Administration, and Technology.
The course consists of six two-day course units with a fixed group of participants, spread out over a period of approximately 15 months. You can register for the course by email within the registration period.
