With a few exceptions, the Central Examination Office (ZPA) performs examination administration for all examination boards of the various degree programs. This includes, among other things, the recording of grades in RWTHonline, the administration of exam registrations and cancellations, and the admission check for final theses. The ZPA is also a service unit which issues various certificates and graduates receive their transcripts here. In addition, the ZPA issues duplicates and performs verifications.

In addition, a key aspect of the ZPA's work is advising and communication. It is the central point of contact for students, but also for examiners and other organizational units of the RWTH, for all questions concerning examinations.
